Its 3.35-inch spearpoint blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols in an 80-layer Damascus pattern, incorporates original P-51 aircraft parts for a unique, durable edge. The blade, featuring a thumb hole reminiscent of the plane’s cockpit canopy, opens smoothly on ball bearings with a flipper tab and secures with a titanium framelock.
The titanium handle, mimicking the aircraft’s studded metal plates, includes a blue blade axle screw with the US Army Silver Star and red anodized screws inspired by the tail rudder, measuring 7.60 inches overall and weighing 3.60 ounces. A titanium clip allows tip-up carry, and a nylon pouch is included. Handcrafted in Solingen, Germany, this knife is available at Timber Knives.
