Made In House

Every knife and axe on this page is made in our own shop.

We make them one at a time in Heber City, Utah — everyday carry and hunting knives, kitchen blades and pack axes — in 80CrV2, 52100 and AEB-L steel, finished and sharpened by hand. No two are quite alike, and runs are small; when a model sells out, the next one is back on the bench.

Come handle them at 350 S Main Street, or shop the current run below.

One at a time, in Heber City

Every knife and axe on this page is made one at a time by our family shop on Main Street in Heber City, Utah. We grind the steel, heat treat it and shape the handles here. Not a factory knife with our name on it.

      The models

      • The Banshee — our everyday-carry fixed blade, and the one we make most. 3.5 in blade, 7.5 in overall.
      • The Skewer — a compact everyday-carry knife with a tanto grind and a reinforced point. 3 in blade, 7 in overall.
      • The Bruiser — a pack axe for kindling and camp wood that still fits in a pack. 3 in edge, 11.5 in overall.
      • The Berserker — a bearded, Viking-style axe on full tang construction. 4.5 in edge, 15.5 in overall.

      What goes into every piece

      • 80CrV2 carbon steel — tough, and the edge comes back in a few passes on a stone. Axes are cut from quarter-inch stock.
      • Full tang construction.
      • G10 or Micarta handles, shaped by hand on the grinder.
      • A Kydex sheath made for that exact piece.

The piece you receive is the one in the photographs. No two handles or finishes come out the same, and when it sells, it's gone.

80CrV2 will patina with use and will rust if neglected. Wipe it dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on the steel. Food-grade mineral oil is all it needs, or use our Everything Wax.
