About No. 008. Ground from 80CrV2 carbon steel, with G10 scales shaped by hand on the grinder. No two are ever the same — this handle's contour is its own, and the finish on this blade came up the way only this one did. It ships in a Kydex sheath formed for this exact knife.

Our everyday-carry fixed blade, and the model we make more of than any other. Short enough to disappear on a belt, stout enough that you stop thinking about what it can take. 80CrV2 gives it real toughness and an edge that comes back in a few passes on a stone.
Timber knives are made one at a time at our shop on Main Street in Heber City, Utah. Ground here, heat treated here, handles shaped here, sharpened here. Not a factory knife with our name on it.
Caring for carbon steel. 80CrV2 will patina with use and will rust if neglected. Wipe it dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on the blade. Food-grade mineral oil is all it needs.
